50 Reasons HBS is Better Than Real Life

Harbus, Harvard University, MA

17 hours ago by Alex Godden (OJ), Ex-Viewpoints Editor

In counterpoint to my other, uncharacteristically sentimental, article looking back on my time at HBS, I feel the need to lighten the atmosphere by taking a slightly tongue-in-cheek look at all the things about HBS that right now look infinitely preferable to the big, cold, scary world out there.

Letter from the editor: And now, the end is near...

The New Hampshire, University of New Hampsire, NH

3 days ago by John Wayne Ferguson

Dear Readers,

As much as we wish we did, The New Hampshire's staff does not have a lot of time to go back and reflect on the stories we have written in the past. For us, the best story is always the next story and, unless a topic stays relevant for weeks or months (like a string of car thefts or developing legal battle), we tend to forget about the things did in the past.

Here comes the D-O-G-G

The New Hampshire, University of New Hampsire, NH

As the days get longer and the weather gets nicer it is becoming harder and harder for students to concentrate on school work instead of the nice weather and the approaching summer break. SCOPE and CAB have only helped this good-time feeling by managing to bring two major concerts and a nationally known comedian to campus over a one week period.

The Free Press -- great or greatest student newspaper?

The Free Press -- great or greatest student newspaper?

The Daily Free Press, Boston University, MA

Many say the newspaper is disappearing. Experts, bloggers and, I suspect, more than a couple people at Boston University believe, as the snotty kid in a recent Simpsons episode said, "Ha ha, your medium is dying."

As memorable a restaurant as the film

The Heights, Boston College, MA

4 days ago by Anne Muscarella

Being from New Jersey, I am constantly in search of a classic diner. So when my friend recommended The Breakfast Club (TBC), I couldn't wait to give it a try. As the name implies, this diner is themed after the 1985 John Hughes movie, The Breakfast Club. The building looks like it was constructed in the 1980s.

Northeastern News, Northeastern University, MA

This summer, the Boloco in the Marino Center will bring students and Boston not just burritos, but free music too with weekly performances and jam sessions from Northeastern and area bands.

The first free performance is tentatively scheduled for Thursday, May 8, from 5 p.

In motion toward the ocean

Northeastern News, Northeastern University, MA

6 days ago by Samantha Moll

It may not seem possible for Northeastern students to escape the classroom or office during the summer, but there is no need to stay in the hot city during the weekends. Boston has several beaches accessible by T, so gather some friends, throw on a bathing suit and hit the beach.

Summester activities keep campus exciting

Northeastern News, Northeastern University, MA

6 days ago by Danielle Capalbo and Matt Collette

Although the number of students on campus dropped substantially last week as many students are not in Boston during the two summer sessions, there are still plenty of things planned to help to pass the time.

This week, the Student Activities and Leadership Office announced a slate of "Summester" activities that aim to entertain and amuse Northeastern students spending the summer in Boston.

UNH student pleads not guilty to murder charges

The New Hampshire, University of New Hampsire, NH

6 days ago by Megan Specia

On September 7, junior backup quarterback for UNH, Henri 'Hank' Hendricks, 21, was charged with murder, assault and battery. The charges came after a May 24 incident while Hendricks was home in San Diego for summer break.

Shock and disbelief took hold of UNH students in reaction to the charges.
